Our farm, at the beginning

Stubborn Girl Farm started out as an idea of a weekend home, but also a homestead.  My vision of self-sufficiency led me to growing my own food in our teeny garden. Before long, I could imagine my life surrounded by bees, and fruit trees, and dairy animals.  But how could I care for the animals, considering my full-time job as a flight attendant?

With these questions still unanswered, I nonetheless jumped both feet in and bought a farm with 17+ acres in upstate New York.

With my partner and future husband, the Stubborn Boy, we’re renovating our 175-yr old Brick house, and slowly planning the shape of our farm and homestead.

This blog follows our journey as I figure all of this stuff out!
